2100. i don't have a personal life ( this has nothing to do with how much i work), so more time at work provides a desirable distraction. if i sit at home with nothing to do i'll just be miserable

2100 isn't that bad, if you're efficient. 9 (billable) hours a day, 5 days a week x 46 weeks+a few busy weeks and you're there.

1600 is sweet. that's an 8 hour billable, 4 days a week, half days on Fridays, 46 weeks a year, and you're still a little over.

Worst hypo ever. Killself if you'd work the extra hours, you're sucking up the oxygen needed by living humans.

This is my current decision. 2100 hours is really 2300 hours, but I am discounting for the fact that I can block bill very easily at my current firm.

Brother if it's a legit 1600 hours that's like a 9-5 jerb. You'd be nuts to work more. Go have a life.

at some point you're gonna work nights/weekends, but it has to be way less than 2100+.

My compensation package is such that if they do I have guaranteed bonuses that will make the pay very similar....but I talked to a lot of attorneys and most talk about 1800 hours like that is killing yourself and most stay around 1600
