50/hr @40 hour week = 100k. I'd ask for 80, maybe 100. But also depends on how you bill. Maybe you want to figure out how long it would take you previously, what that would get billed out at versus how much you'd be making for the time, etc, etc. Also has to be reasonable to them.

Edit: I know you have complained about it, but bad enough to quit? Why not check out for a few months, get the severance package. Take the lady to a nice little trip for a few weeks, come back recharged, and start looking at doing contract work.

Yeah no way should he quit. If anything push back hard on the sickness partner. If he gets lucky the guy will be abusive enough that he can parlay it into some leverage.

they all kept quitting, the office has had severe attrition, which is probably why I got the job in the first place. im the only senior associate. there are a few juniors, but no midlevels.
