All I own are a pair of black AE Park Avenues which I'm going to wear for OCI. Top 1/3 at CCN and looking to buy a pair of brown shoes to wear at callbacks to firms with shirt (no tie), wool pants, navy blazer.

What should I get? Nordstrom doesn't have the Fifth Ave available so I was thinking brown Park Ave or Brown AE Strands? I have no style taste. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help guys. Imma wait until next Friday but I don't know what to get. I'm leaning towards brown burnished calf AE PAs because I'll be able to later wear them with a suit but I really want biz casual shoes and I'm afraid brown AE PAs might stand out negatively in business casual events like firm callbacks where they're being word with wool pants, button down (no tie), and a blazer.

Check out the clifton at nordstroms - it is a casual derby, fine with slacks or chinos and no tie.

don't wear lace-ups when you're in a blazer and no tie. it's a time for loafers of some sort. really depends on your style and personal taste.

OP says he doesn't know how to dress. Wearing lace-up brown shoes is a lot trickier than simply going with the classic loafer look. He can't screw up loafers.
