depending on what religion, this could be a net positive.

ie--not fundamentalist xianty or islam.

Likely all of them will, but Christianity will probably be the biggest growth and Islam will be big as well.

Not sure how you can equate the two -- Christ being easily the most virtuous figure in religion and Mohammed being a child rapist who like beheading people.

1) well, it's about the message and not the messenger.

2) Islam is not a bad se in moderation. I lived in one muslim neighborhood (parts of jersey city are mighty muslim) and a handful of my black friends converted and it seems like a net positive. is there some bullshit with it? sure. but the message when lived by moderate people who can separate the wheat from the chaff is just fine; just not for me. at the TL;DR level--they are great neighbors. if your neighborhood in america is high muslim, shit is cool even if you are an outsider.

2) christianity is basically the same as above at it's moderate levels--think episcopalians, lutherans, presbyterians. it gets shitty at the baptist level onward.

the messages are fine, it's the followers and what they can be.

1 - the message in both cases is that you are supposed to emulate the messenger.

2 - ok, sure.

3 - no, it is not the same. you are equating the "baptist level" christians with murderous jihadists. undoubtedly, the evil of the "baptist level" is *drumroll* they think being gay is a choice and a sin and don't want their sons doing it! oh the horror. listen to yourself, you have been mentally disordered by liberalism.

Wrong, unless you count nigh religious faith in technology as a religion. We've been in a period of romanticism for a while now (thus all the shitlib multicultural circle-jerking), but we're headed straight for a new Enlightenment, when people acquiesce to an even more drastic lack of privacy because technology consumes their lives and they will do anything to enable its progress.

What on fucking Earth would lead you to believe this? What empirical data? Every single statistic has us headed for rapid, exponential change. Watch this brah, it's only like 5 minutes and you won't regret it:

Uhhhhh, bro, those aren't predictions (until the very end). We've literally made glow-in-the-dark dogs, bacteria that change colors based on certain chemical exposures, completely synthetic organisms that don't even exist in nature, etc. Gene splicing is very real.

What about this, brother? These will be standard in 20 years and HUGELY affect daily human experience:

Naaaaah.

Technological progress from here on will be tweaking.

High-level progress in theoretical science, which ultimately fuels tech and engineering, has been stalling for 50 years now.

TCQ. Global wealth has actually been rising (see India, China, etc) despite economic troubles along the road. Heck, even the US is growing. The only place not growing in Europe, which is the most non-religious place on the planet.
