Oh boy. Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher who has drawn a lot of attention recently for his longtime refusal to pay grazing fees (and because his cause drew the support of an armed militia), was profiled in the New York Times on Thursday. That meant a New York Times reporter was there to hear Bundy say this:
“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.
“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

Exactly. Bad people sometimes have good ideas or back good causes. Neither are true with Bundy. Instead, while Bundy is a sack if shit, his situation shows the folly of federal government overreach based on policy decisions made on the otherside of tthe country by libs that have never been to Nevada.
Bundy was always a shit victim. But the fact remains that federal government fees for use of this barren land only hurts the rights of the citizens, and only supports some bullshit goal made by some fuck who doesn't give a shit about citizens in are country.
Of coirse Bundy is a loose cannon nut job. Who didn't see that coming? It doesn't follow that blm is a great agency.
I'll edit typos later when I'm off this little ass phone.

Cliff Cliven forgot one thing:
No one wants to hear the truth.
(Or should that be "troof"?)
