I lived frugally and had 100K in the bank (didn't have huge loans) plus a car paid off and down payment on a condo. Plus the prestige of the job set me up for my eventual career in my new field.
Worked out well. I casually dated, i.e. fucked chicks in biglaw, but thought of it like another 3 year law school spell and then I was done. Age 28-29 I was free again and now I am in a LTR at 31 with a 28 year old, marriage track. |
