Solos: Do you miss having a career path ?

Date: September 28th, 2014 9:10 PM Author: odious theater stage just wondering if anyone else misses having a well defined career path ? i sorta miss it since i dont have a career anymore - but i make good money and have more clients every year. how do you have a career path when you are a solo ? i cant even get promoted. :/

Having a career path is good in some ways, but is bad to the extent it puts a ceiling on where you can be year to year (at least as a biglaw associate). You don't have a defined path in front of you, but if you hustle the sky is the fucking limit. You make your own destiny. |
