with the right inputs you can basically guarantee that you'll make $160,000 plus bonus at 24 or 25.

some people find it interesting. of course no job is awesome all the time, but having actually worked in one of the 2-3 careers that xo jerks off to being "SO MUCH >>>> LAW" i can say there's plenty of incredibly boring shit required grinding pitchbooks/excel/ppt etc.

for many if not most, lots of the "advice" on xo about how everyone should "just do ibanking/MBB/CS/code academy/MBA/med school/sales/etc. etc. etc., BRO" actually boils down to "just be a different person than who you actually are, bro."

180 bro

One of my favorite moments was in the classroom when I finally "got" how Marbury v. Madison worked.

SCOTUS opinions are interesting. Constitutional law is interesting. Contracts and employment law and the like are not

it's a pretty good small business to have, compared to other small businesses. high margin and protected by regulation. you can get a 30 year term loan for the necessary startup capital costs ($200K for the degree) easily, with barely even a credit check.

maybe because....my parents had awesome careers doing interesting/lucrative shit. Now they have their own solo practices and make 120k working 30 hr weeks in low cost city. But not sure any of that would be possible now.
