King & Spalding’s revenue broke the $1bn mark for the first time last year, as its global turnover rose by 9 per cent.
The firm saw its revenue increase from $934m (£638m) in 2014 to $1.02bn (£700m) in the last financial year.
Average profit per equity partner similarly rose from $2.36m to $2.5m, a percentage increase of just under 6 per cent.

After four years of rising revenue, McDermott Will & Emery saw its gross revenue slip in 2015, while profits rose 3.3 percent for the firm’s somewhat diminished equity partnership.
The Chicago-based firm brought in $891.5 million in revenue last year, a modest decline of 0.9 percent from the $900 million it posted in 2014. The firm’s revenue still sits below pre-recession levels, when it peaked at $978 million in 2007.
Profits per equity partner were $1.58 million, compared to $1.53 million in 2014. Net income was relatively flat, dropping 0.8 percent to $308 million. The firm had fewer equity partners to share the wealth: 195, down from 203 in 2014.

Greenberg Traurig reported a healthy year in 2015 with gross revenue rising 4 percent to $1.32 billion and profit per partner up 3.5 percent to $1.475 million.
Net income at the international law firm also increased 5.2 percent to $448 million. The lawyer head count rose 4.5 percent to 1,809 lawyers in 38 offices.
The latest financial results are similar to those in 2014 with the exception of revenue per lawyer, which dropped 0.7 of a percent to $730,000 last year.

Arnold & Porter’s gross revenue fell from $694.5 million in 2014 to $650 million, and Bracewell’s income dropped from $337.5 million to $296.5 million last year, according to the firms, which on Friday both confirmed numbers first reported by AmLaw publications.
In addition to the decline in revenue, Arnold & Porter reported that its profits per partner plummeted 12.6 percent from nearly $1.4 million in 2014 to just more than $1.2 million last year.
