what's weird is you sometimes get shit like people who live in marin (which has excellent public schools) sending their kids to SI (big catholic school in SF) for no real reason other than they got dinged at the more expensive private schools. |

Her parents were both overworked doctors who made millions but didn't spend any time with her, an only child. So she was raised by her Guatemalan nanny and her Spanish is extremely good.
She earned a summa cum laude at a lower Ivy, was miserable in her post college career, and eventually made her way to get a PsyD.
Why do parents obsess about this kind of stuff? It's clear my ex-gf would have had almost the exact same life path if she went to a shittier school. |
