"The only problem is that the foundation of Conway¡¦s argument ¡X that map ¡X is so bafflingly distant from reality that it¡¦s hard to think this isn¡¦t somehow an inside joke."
Of course it's a joke, since even kellyanne conway, a professional pollster, knows damn well that there is no feasible way to 270 for her boss, Donald tRump. I hope she got paid in advance for her magnificent deflection on a daily basis, because tRump has a very bad habit of not paying independent contractors like conway.

Why does the media always quote the rcp average. That's so misleading because voters are fallin away from her with Wikileaks, PV videos exposing the corruption all the way up the ladder. Any informed voter knows to look at the main battleground states and the trend. Judgement day is near and Hilangecal Clerkel will not be President of the USA!

It is no wonder you can't do the electoral math. You only have 20 fingers and toes, not the 270 you'd need to count things up.

Polls have constantly been wrong.. there is no way to have an accurate poll.. You can tell me polls were accurate 4 years ago.. THAT WAS $ YEARS AGO. Things have changed A LOT and the sampling is not accurate. They had this problem in England.. they had the problem in the primaries... and yet they think they are correct now.. You should vote.. no matter who you support vote and MAKE SURE to check your ballot before submitting..
Polls today are not accurate and are not an accurate indication of voters. They are there to deter people from voting. They will deter voters from both sides.. because either one feels they have it in the bag and because one thinks there is no chance. ALWAYS VOTE! Make sure you do.. do not let what someone else tells you keep you from voting..

As someone who has traditionally voted Republican, I hope he DOES lose Arizona, Georgia, and Texas, if only to prove a point to the people who blamed "the neocons!" for Romney and McCain losing.

I live in Nevada and we get at least three robocalls a day from pollsters. We started hanging up on them a long time ago. The last one that my wife answered asked for her age and race. When she pushed the button for white it immediately hung up on her. Don't put too much faith in the polls they try to get too much information and people end up hanging up before it's finished. God only knows how they figure in an incomplete answer.

Or more likely they're trying to get an accurate demographic sample which is hard when old white people are far more likely to still have a land line than any other demographic.

Ms. Conway just sunk her polling company-- no-one is ever going to ask her for *accurate* polling.
(though I suppose that leaves those people who might hire her for leans toward the numbers they'd like to see)

The costs will largely be offset by tax breaks, and whether you realize it or not those who have insurance pay for the uninsured through higher premiums and bills.

Brenda,
You do realize it would have been pretty simple and exponentially less expensive to fix the original system to include pre-existing conditions, right?

Hey 'stupid', my mom's deductible went up to $5000 due to Obama care. So the treatments she needs 3 times a week at $40 a pop, she can no longer afford until she meets that deductible. If I didn't pay for her treatments she couldn't get them at all. Thanks to Obamacare.
Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Obamacare is for people who could not otherwise afford heath insurance. If their insurance rate goes up, then it is still better than having no health insurance at all, especially for those who can die if they don't get medical care or if they go bankrupt by paying the hospital bills out of their own pocket. Further, those on Medicaid will not have their premium go up. Therefore Trump's plan to repeal Obamacare will only help those who are young and healthy but do not want to pay for the increased cost. They of course have the option of paying the penalty which is about $700 or 2% of their income. Therefore most people who are affected by the rate increase will still want Obamacare since they know they can pay the penalty now and still be able to get insurance later if they get seriously ill. Without Obamacare lots of unemployed young people cannot be included in their parents' health plans and lots of people cannot get coverage because of a previous condition. Overall Obamacare is a life saver, and people like it. It is NOT the horrible thing that the Tea Party Republicans said that it would be. In fact, the Tea Party is on life support.

Obamacare has flaws, but it's better than what we had before...something its opponents conveniently forget when blasting it. Does anyone remember the rate increases per year prior to the ACA? I do; double digit rate increases per year. On a regular basis. It was becoming a crisis, and we had to do something. So, we got the ACA. It wasn't the perfect solution, but without bipartisan cooperation, it was the best we could hope for.
Obviously, double digit rate increases for the ACA are problematic, and we'd like to make some tweaks to the system...something that would be much easier with even a tiny bit of republican cooperation. Instead, we get "repeal" votes over and over again. No attempt to tweak a program with a lot of positive benefits, just obstruction. The right WANTS Obamacare to fail, and as a consequence, take insurance away from millions.
Obamacare has problems, but make no mistake, it is much better than the way it used to be, when you could be kicked off your plan for getting sick (and good luck getting insurance after that). Lets keep the good parts of the plan, adjust the bad parts, and try to make the system better. You don't throw it all away just because it has some teething problems.

Tim,
Actually, no, the ACA is not better. In fact, it is much worse! And yes, it should be repealed.
It should have never been passed in the first place.
Are you and Brenda (above) related?
You do realize it would have been pretty simple and exponentially less expensive to fix the original system to include pre-existing conditions, right?

I agree with Conway. Hillary will not win Florida, North Carolina, Ohio or Iowa. Nevada is anyone's guess. Hillary will probably pull off Penn and Wisconsin. Michigan depends on voter turnout. If you look at real polls conducted by people who make their living polling, instead of the media polls, this election is within the margin of error and the media is overselling Hillary to discourage Trump voters.
