Attending social events is higher.

Looks like the divide there is about formality, structure, and maybe goal orientation.

But this graphic doesn't tell us anything about overall prevalence of the activities. So it's hard to say much more.

true, there's probably 200 tennis players for every racquetball player, and 25 racquetball players for every squash player, at least in the US

So you're right, we're probably looking at tennis players

which is the most fun though

is racquetball the cr middle ground? i don't actually know the difference between racquetball and squash. Do they use the same court, same ball?

Squash and racquetball are pretty different. Racquetball uses a larger, lighter rubber ball that bounces easily; it's a lot like a tennis ball without the fuzz. Squash uses a tiny rubber ball that doesn't bounce as much. The courts are a little different as well and I think the rackets are too (only ever played racquetball).

Racquetball is closer to tennis in terms of skillset, and most people consider it less physically taxing though my dad (who has played both extensively) felt the opposite.

If you live on the East Coast squash is probably more popular. In middle America racquetball is dominant.

If you asked any squash player, they'd disagree. To them, it goes 1. Squash, 2. Tennis, 3. Racquetball. Reason for this revolves around squash being generally exclusive to "clubs", tennis is a mix of club/public, and racquetball is almost exclusively public. It's all massive faggotry in the end, but no way anyone would consider racquetball above tennis. Squash players almost universally look down on racquetball.

Even if we assume the income level of tennis players lower overall, still can't put any public gym sport above one played at nearly every country club.

Bizarre how high football-watching is considering how popular it is in general and with black people specifically. Maybe they specifically mean attending games?

Also odd that playing baseball is below playing football; baseball has been typecast as an UMC sport in the US.
