You should be fine, but I've witnessed fuckery at my in-house gig. A colleague applied to a rival company. The rival company asked a former employee (who now works at my company) about the applicant. The former employee roasted the applicant, who is a much better atty than the former employee. I'd like to tell the applicant about it, but I'd rather avoid that shit fest.
