Because it was linked one night I watched the Murdoch Murdoch cartoon about the sad fall of Kekistan. I basically felt that whole episode was made to make fun of me. But I think there is a real challenge as to whether civic nationalism is possible with how deeply tribal and addicted to identity politics everyone is. Which is too bad because I don't have a tribe.

I don't think a white nationalist state is remotely possible in the US, so I am not sure what the goal is there either. But if it is about raising awareness as to identity politics and whether we are going to accept that as a society for everyone or for no one - that is a fair issue.
