Both guys basically had no schtick. Just regular white guys.
"Stunning" Steve Austin. Balding southern guy. I wasn't into the Stone Cold WWF persona bc I was a WcWmo but he was insanely charismatic and resonated with a huge portion of the wrestling fan demographic. WCW completely squandered what would have been a huge asset.

Undertaker spent 1989-1990 in WcW as "Mean" Mark Callous. Similarly he basically had no schtick and was just kind of a dark dude who wore black like a goth but not supernatural or anything, which is what really made him special.

Would the WWF still exist if WcW capitalized on Steve Austin's schtick? Could Sting's Crow schtick have co-existed with the Undertaker's? If not, would the NWO vs WcW saga have been as compelling?
