But based on how he's being "recruited" by major companies -- not to mention graduate programs -- you'd think he was the second coming. Apparently if you're black, libs won't hold you to any standard whatsoever. I'll probably struggle for the rest of my life, but this guy would be competitive at YLS simply because he grew up poor and did some volunteering bullshit. Jfc at this nonsense. Company puts out an ad for a position. Black guy with spotty resume and work history applies. People responsible for this department decide to bring him in for an interview. I didn't set in on this interview, but after interviews, we give potential employees a little questionnaire thing with questions like, "What was your greatest achievement at your last place of employment?" "What was the biggest challenge you faced at your last place of employment?" You know, your typical bullshit questions that companies ask. The point being to see if the potential employee can actually write worth a damn and answer questions in a professional manner.
This black guy filled out the questionnaire and I kid you not, for the question, "What was your greatest achievement at your last place of employment?", this guy wrote verbatim, "Worked a full day of work." The entire form was nothing but one sentence answers like this.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, this particular department wanted to hire the guy, but the directors of each department have to agree or come to a consensus on hiring new employees. So I'm in the conference room making the case that we absolutely should not hire this guy, while all the other cucks wanted to "give the guy a chance."
I made the point that this is work, a company, and we aren't a charity, that by choosing this guy, we're shafting the other qualified applicants.
I said pretty much verbatim, "Look, we're talking about hiring a low IQ dunce solely on what appears to be guilt or charatability. If we want to give someone a shot, we've got a better chance of getting that shot right by just choosing a recent college grad with no experience. Hell, at least they're in debt and motivated to work. I'll be emphatic, you're talking about hiring a certified dumb ass over qualified people and anything that goes to shit from hiring this guy is on yall. I mean, the guy lacks the creativity to even make something up to try to impress us."
They decided to hire the guy. The guy showed up for his first day of work, but didn't even show up for the second day. They called him to see where he was and he said, "Yeah I don't really feel like workin' right now." When I found out about this, I just said, "Well, at least yall gave him a shot, diversity is our strength, ya know?" |
