I was reading too many forums with jackasses day and swing trading BTC, rarely talking about their bad calls but always their good ones, and started to get a little greedy. I started trying to hodl only if the price was going up, and sell if it fell beyond a certain percentage to protect my downside.
After getting burned by choppy prices and betting more than I should have, I got tired of unwittingly becoming a daytrader. The only time I'll sell now is at one of those obvious moments where we fail to break a major resistance level, or if the Chinese want to set up another buying opportunity with some PBOC FUD. Mostly all of this shit will go up in the long run.
The funny thing is, going back to those trader forums after spending a little time away, all the posters there just sound like gamblers as they try to make sense out of something I'm pretty sure is being highly manipulated. |
