Do people really think UGA will beat Bama?

Imo, the top 4 should be the teams most likely to make the playoffs, so Bama, TCU, tOSU, and Clemson.

If UGA wins out and loses to an unbeaten Bama in the SECCG, there's a damn good chance they maek the playoffs

PAC 12 is pretty much done here if ND beats USC. Washington has a terrible, terrible schedule. A 1 loss Washington wouldn't jump a Georgia who only loses the SECCG.

We could easily see something like a 2-loss ACC champ with a ND loss (who UGA beat on the road with a freshman making his first start). But if Clemson wins out they're in ahead of a hypothetical 1-loss Georgia or 1-loss ND.

I think Clemson is the only 1 loss conference champ that gets in over 1 loss UGA and ND. If ND, UGA, Bama and Clemson all win out, aside from UGA losing to Alabama and nobody remains undefeated, then those four are your playoff and there are going to be some mad conferences.

It shouldn't be who's most likely. Because at that point, you get a double bonus for easier scheduling. Teams should be ranked based on resume and performance. UGA has been really good.

So just to be clear, you would rank an UNDEFEATED Georgia team that won at Notre Dame (which has steamrolled all its other opponents by 20+, including @Sparty) and has obliterated everyone else (see, e.g., 41-0 at Tennessee, 31-3 over Miss St) BELOW a team that lost to SYRACUSE? Is that right?
