The basic principle is that when people say "Black Lives Matter" they are not saying other lives *don't* matter, but that in this particular circumstance, they are dealing with issues and strife in the black community and want to work on solutions to help that specific community. The BLM movement does not denigrate other communities. By saying "All Lives Matter," in response to black lives matter, you are basically saying that you don't care about the black community or agree that it has a right to work on it's issues.
The same principle works with saying "White Lives Matter". You aren't saying that other communities don't matter, but trying to put a focus on solving the issues that are important to the white community.
By thinking about it like this, I have come to support the BLM movement. And also the WLM movement. Thanks.
