Work. You have a 'relationship' to your work. There MUST be some genuine interest in the underlying subject matter, or at least a bigger long term goal you can connect it to, or you'll be miserable and addictionpwn.'
Social. All the classic Freudian stuff plus also matters of adult standing in a friends group.
Can't get this together? Can't work out that weird underlying tension between you and mom? Still planning to 'lateral out' of BigLaw when your loans are paid off?
Nothing inherenlty wrong with that. but this kinda stuff is a part of why many people use. It's hard to not be an addict when you have ZERO truly 'confessional' relationships. |
