Date: November 23rd, 2017 12:24 AM Author: very tactful disrespectful immigrant LONG, popular places easily have 1 hour lines go super early for lunch, be there whenever it opens LJL at Chinese food without pork (maybe in some vegetarian Buddhist monasteries) I like Maxim’s Town Hall in Central for dim sum lunch too but get there early as well (edit also pork in everything I guess) |

Date: November 23rd, 2017 1:02 AM Author: very tactful disrespectful immigrant ljl the view from the Peak is hard to beat though does she like cooking etc? up near Prince Edward (where that dim sum place is) is Shanghai Street, a little street filled with small shops crammed with chinese cooking implements, including the shop with the cleaver knives that are supposed to be the best around, chinese cooks get them shipped everywhere from this store. it’s pretty cool there, very old school HK |
