It has to be seen as a legitimate currency, and not seen as an alternative investment vehicle to gold. If there aren't legitimate ways to incorporate crypto into real-life transactions, this is a huge bubble that will burst brutally. The results MUST be necessary and tangible. Why does the world need an online version of gold?

The volatility at this point is a major issue. How can you use something as a currency that routinely swings 10+% in a 24 hour period.

there are platforms that will be pegged to other currencies to make them stable

"currency" part of crypto is a misnomer. its not money, its something way weirder

So Bitcoin type A would be traded as it is now. Then you covert Bitcoin A into another type of Bitcoin (or coin) that tracks USD movement against Euro. Is this correct?

If this is the case, why couldn't JP Morgan/Chase just get into "smart contract" development...If the only reason to have crypto is to subvert government control, eventually it will reach a point where it becomes a threat to governments. At which point, it will be heavily regulated/outlawed.

Not wagecuck/invested in crpyto..So it's the opposite really. But why aren't cryptonuts looking to poke holes in what's going on? The only people that truly understand the technology are blinded by their success.

The world is not getting the other side of the argument on this stuff from any sources except 80-year-old Wharton professors on CNBC who scream bubble, but can't explain why.

you seem like a nocoin cuckold bc you are committing the same fallacy that those 80 year old reanimated corpses on cnbc do: they conflate the entire crypto space with just the one-trick pony that is bitcoin. blockchain tech is infinitely richer and has infinitely more potential use cases than mere value storage and transfer. see: ethereum and dapps, governance, credit and lending, resource tracking, tokenized assets, the list goes on and on. and there is likely much more that hasn't even been conceived of yet. ljl done here with your asinine cuntrarianism
