Anyone born after 1995 or so is not a 'millennial', they have no recollection of the turn of the millennium

I was born in 1991 bro and the people born in the 80s seem more like the gen x generation -- try-hards, boomer ass kissers, live life based on cliches and stereotypes, influenced by tv more than by social media.

You have even less in common with someone who was barely alive for 9/11.

The Iraq War was more of a defining moment in modern American history than 9/11. The Vietnam War was the big defining moment of the 60s/70s.

Also lol @ going back to alphabetical naming - generations will be named after the great cataclysm of their birth year from now on

The “millennial” term has been stretched out for way too long. It was first used to refer to kids who were the class of 2000 (b 1982) so I’d roughly class millennials as early 80s through any age old enough to remember 9/11. (1995-6?) after this they’re something else for sure. Kids born in 2000 had iPhones when they were 8 or 9 and millennials didn’t even have cell phones at all until 12 or 13.

Using the class of 2000 was always forcememe horseshit. By sheer luck, it happens to get things about right, but the supposed impact of graduating in 2000 is rancid Straus and Howe flame.
