I was curious about how the top relative coin marketcaps have held up over time. It appears as if the top #10 currencies are substantially more stable than the top #11-20 currencies.

12/30/17 update: Corrected 2014's #10 coin - "DarkCoin" which I originally listed as being unranked today. DarkCoin is now known as Dash (a coinjoin style privacy coin).

Dash was ranked at #8 when I made the December 2017 list. (As of 12/30 it is now at #9.) This correction makes the resiliency and performance of the top ten coins appear even stronger: 40% of the 2014 top ten remain in the top ten today.
