It was the law since there were laws that men cannot marry men. You made us change that.
2. In all other, non-legal realms, we do not respect a child's ability to consent to important decisions!
In every other non-legal realm, society did not respect buggery or men marrying each other. You made us change that.
3. It's morally hideous to think a child could consent to sex!
Again, people thought the same about a man sodomizing another man. These things change.
4. Psychology unanimously condemns adult-child sex as traumatic for the child.
Again, psychologists listed homosexuality as a mental illness.
