The magazine is always the most unreliable part of any firearm. The single best feature of a shotgun like the mossberg is its insane level of reliability. The 590 has a tube capacity of 6+1 stock, or 8 or 9 + 1 in the 590A1, either of which should suffice. The tradeoff for 1-2 extra rounds is not worth it.
