about crypto discussion i was not paying attention (bought my first crypto in dec 2017) but i take your word for it. now if Sqmo had banned ppl from talking about crypto on XO even in general terms that would be really bad. but i thought ppl were still posting tips on crypto bort (luis and ven for example)

if i have a great startup idea relating to politics/media you can be rest assured that i will invite selected serious like minded ppl from XO to plan and make it happen. you really dont think that somebody will publish and discuss a business plan on XO for the entire world to see along with all the psychos, autists and weirdos? he setup a buyers group and by nature it has to be selective.

maybe my judgment radar is wack but i just dont see what he did wrong except maybe being a little bit too pompous wrt questionnaire.

People IRL backstab you like crazy and stomp over real friends/colleagues for a better performance rating or promotion or sales. i mean what he did is nothing in comparison and we are talking about random internet strangers here. i suspect that the ppl who get really worked up over it are neetmos who dont live IRL and have a very skewed perspective or ppl who actually lost money due to the bear market after following the slack pump/dump

or i am the retarded one who is too forgiving. i dont know. the one thing this whole episode shows for sure is the power of money. its intoxicating and alluring. which is why i didn't want to join the slack in the first place. same reason why i refuse to loan money or provide seed capital to friends. it can destroy relationships like nothing else. i like to keep my personal life and financial life separate and try not to get emotional about it especially when dealing with random internet strangers

considering the bull run we had the secret slack in hindsight was irrelevant. you could have randomly picked 10 coins in binance during sept/oct or any random ico and made 10x minimum. it all came down to when you bought and when you sold not what you bought/sold

so there is no magic sauce except for exeuent's original ETH pick. that was BRILLIANT. not acting on that is one thing i will regret forever.

unfortunately sqmo always felt the need to be very competitive with me. ive never understood it, but my guess is that he wanted to be poasterchild of crypto success, and was initially at a disadvantage because of how late he got in.

remember every thread you create is a product competing with all the other threads for market share. its a zero sum game. "declined to fill the questionnaire" won't have the same impact
