Keep. The term has appeared in published admissions books by Richard Montauk, Anna Ivey, Robert H. Miller, and Susan Estrich, and is frequently used by prospective students (search for the term at Xoxohth, LawSchoolDiscussion, and 4LawSchool and you'll literally get thousands of threads and hundreds of thousands of posts {not an exageration] referencing the term}), current students (in addition to the message board postings see Penn Law's LALSA using the term Top 14 to refer to Penn's peer schools), professors (in fact the term is so widely used that it's been attacked by Brian Leiter), admissions consultants (including the two most famous ones, Loretta Deloggio and Anna Ivey), pre-law advisors (for a few exmples see the University of Dayton Prelaw Advising Website and SUNY Binghamton's press release bragging about the number of students admitted to the Top 14 law schools), and deans of admissions. This isn't an obscure term to anyone familiar with prestigious law school admissions

I suggest patience. Or rather, I suggest we/somebody put together a solid case before appealing. I thought the post talking about all the legit sources referencing T14 would win the debate, so I think that should be the focus (maybe expanded):
"Keep. This isn't an obscure term to anyone familiar with prestigious law school admissions."
Also, the best thing to do is to beat the Wikinerds with their own rules. They kept harping on the fact that a lot of the 'keeps' were from first-time and anonymous users. We should use Wiki's "Don't bite the newcomers" page to show that their criticisms go against the spirit of Wikinerdworld:

Just so you know, I am one of you. I agree that Lotsofissues is a douche -- he (she?) has interfered with several "worthy" wikipedia projects. I nominated the T14 page for deletion mainly because I had an hour to kill and was bored -- thanks for a good show watching you guys repeatedly pwn those wikipedia fuckers and still lose. Just so you know, if you want to recreate T14 I won't mess with it. Actually, if you include one more source or something so my position will be "justified" I will even vote to keep if someone nominates it for deletion.
Also, why can't you guys get as excited about fucking with the Cooley page ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooley_law ) as you were about keeping T14? Although I didnt participate, youhad an interesting effort going there to post an image on human feces (see the page history).."debate" on the matter and all. And we've been successful at including some disparaging comments.

when you say "emotuonal attachment to this site" do you mean xoxohth.com or wikipedia. If the latter, it is unclear to me how anyone could have an "emotional attachment" to this message board, but maybe i am missing something. If you are referring to wikipedia, look..there were legitimate arguments for deleting the T14 article. I stated them and was supported by experienced editors. The only opposition came from anonymous editors and registered editors with very few edits to their names. So maybe, though I did it for shits and giggles, I made a legitimate case for deletion. If my case was actually legitimate, in the end I contributed to making wikipedia better.
But what would make wikipedia much better would be all of you joining the add pictures of poop to the cooley wikipedia page campaign.

You, my friend, are a feckless, pathetic moron.
GTO has a very legitimate reason to be emotionally attached to this board; he helped found it, he monitors it and pays for it. Unlike you, he actually provides a positive contribution to a successful internet site.
You, however, do the opposite. Your "legitimate" argument was completely destroyed by those in the know; T14 is a phenomena that has been referred to in several articles, as illustrated through the arguments during the deletion process. Hell, even Leiter, who is completely opposed to the concept of T14, often times refers to said concept. True, the concept of the T14 is divisional, but that doesn't make it any less ripe for a wikipedia article; if anything, that makes it more appropriate. T14 is not an agreed upon term, but it is a debated term and people applying to law school should know about it.
I'm still waiting on you to explain exactly how you made wikipedia "better." You provided no good and probably have deprived potential law school applicants with needed information.
Now, why don't you push back your huge glasses, take a long, reflective look at your life, and realize that you are the epitome of a douchebag with vision of grandeur. You do no good, and I'm sure you do this to try to stroke your non-existent ego. Please, go out into the real world and provide some actual good, but until then, stop removing information that people may need later.

GTO did not help found xoxo. it was boondocks and rachmiel. in fact, i have no idea what purpose GTO serves besides acting like a bitch here, posting his stupid "AutoAdmit" "studies", and creating an ugly portal (www.autoadmit.com) to deserve his status. i dont know if he contributes any money to the project, and if he does, good for him. also, his idiotic tabs on the left hand side of the page are useless, but im glad it provided him with some time to waste. in conclusion, GTO, aside from potentially having a financial stake in xoxo, has done nothing positive, and certainly did not help found it.

yeah i don't know...i think the mods or whoever are just like cops...they love power and exercising it, probably b/c the lack or lacked it in some other area or time of their lives.
of course wiki mods can only exercise it by deleting. i don't understand why they care...it's not like there is any downside to too many entries, it's not a question of cost of printing or limited space. the presumption should be everything stays in unless there is absolutely no reference that a third party could check.

Leiter will stop at nothing to deny the continued acceptance of the term T14. On Friday, he posted AGAIN about the term on his blog. His transparent attempts to bolster Texas at every turn are pretty sad. Somewhere he sits in a dark office, pizza crumbs dribbling down his sweaty gut, toiling away on Wikipedia to eliminate public knowledge of the T14.
