I think younger generations have moved on from the "guilt" of the past, simply because they weren't there for it. It's in the past. But even until recently, Germans were hesitant to even show "patriotism" or wave German flags at soccer games as extreme patriotism was associated with Nazism. It casts a pall over Germany but to Germany's credit it has done far more to reconcile with its past than say, Japan or any other country that has committed atrocities. But the German racial thinking of the Nazis is gone. Is Germany cool and cr in many ways? Yes. But they are mainly the cornerstone of the EU economy bc they are the manufacturing base of Europe. Then encourage race mixing to become a new people.
