Friends now working as attendings for the past 6 months. One is an IM guy who did a fellowship making 350. The other is an FM PCP making 215. IM guy works 7 on/7 off hospitalist gig outside of a small city on the east coast. FM guy works in the burbs as well working 8-6 M-F. The EM guys I know who've been working for the past 2 years are clearing north of 400k.
Meanwhile I'm bringing in about 85 as a solo. Job is nice, low stress but no benefits and I don't see much of an upside salary wise
What was I thinking..I'm in my early 30s now. Would it be worth it to go back to school at this point to get the MD
