Netted $1,060 for my black fiancee by writing a scathing Yelp review

We took it back and the fat Mexican manager jumped on the phone with the owner and they said they would order one and call when it came in. They never called.
My black fiancee then started emailing someone there who tried telling her that her car doesn't come with a navigation module, even though it was advertised with one, and even though there is this empty space under the glove box and the LCD screen says, "Missing Navigation Module."
You guys know I'm a great writer (probably only second to Hoj Rosko if we are being honest) so I decided to take over and send those motherfuckers a demand letter. Gave them until the end of May to reply and they didn't.
My demand letter threatened to take our story to Yelp so I wrote a scathing review. It was fucking brutal. I showed it to my black fiancee and she started laughing and said, "You're right, it *is* brutal."
I told her to sit back, relax, and wait for the owner to call her. I noticed that this douchebag replied to every single Yelp review, good or bad, so I knew it was an Achilles Heel.
He called my black fiancee and told her he could get the navigation module installed at a Mercedes dealer for $1,060 and asked her if she wanted a check instead. I told her to take the check.
After she accepted there was a pause and he goes, "So will that be enough to take the Yelp review down?" |
