I haven't read enough, but I think I'm more drawn to his more "entertainment" novels, anyway, since spy novels are one of the few genre novels I like. End of the affair was one of the GOAT for me but partly because I was in a relationship like the one in the book and it was mind blowing that he could write it all so concisely
Beyond just the stories his word craft is brilliant
But Jonathan franzen thinks he’s over rated so... |
