if Trump pardons Manafort Trump's standing in polls won't change even 1%

I don't think Trump pardons him. Manafort has nothing on Trump so there's no reason to.
At least, I would have thought that months ago when it seemed he left manafort to twist in the wind. The last few days make it seem more likely

The reason Trump will pardon Manafort (only if convicted) is the same reason he will pardon anyone else who gets convicted: principles.
Anyone who is intellectually honest and has a brain knows that this whole circus is just a political witch hunt. Ask yourself: would these charges have been brought against Manafort had he never been involved with the Trump campaign? The answer is unquestionably: NO!
So Flynn, Manafort, and anyone else who gets caught up in this disgraceful banana republic escapade can rest easy knowing that they will receive their pardon. And, as OP points out, Trump’s support correctly will not fall one iota.

I thin Flynn is far more likely to receive a pardonnthan Manafort.
I get the idea that anyone wrapped up by Mueller was treated unfairly, but Manaforts crimes (if he's found guilty) were far more pervasive and predated the campaign by years. It makes sense to treat him differently.
But like JJC at his parents dry cleaning business, we'll have to see what unfolds. Frankly I'm surprised Flynn hasn't been pardoned yet.

Flynn only hasn’t been pardoned because his sentencing has continually been delayed.
Once he is sentenced, I’d expect a pardon to follow in short order. Although, at this point, it would likely occur after the midterms.
And what you said about Manafort isn’t responsive enough to what I said. It doesn’t matter that his conduct predated the campaign. The ONLY reason he was charged is because he worked for Trump. Nothing else matters, that tremendously pisses Trump off, and it is why I 100% guarantee he will pardon Manafort if necessary.

Why should the president not strip from a CIA director who calls him a traitor the honor and privilege of a security clearance? Or is a top-secret clearance an entitlement like Social Security?
CIA directors retain clearances because they are seen as national assets, individuals whose unique experience, knowledge and judgment may be called upon to assist a president in a national crisis.
Not so long ago, this was a bipartisan tradition.
Who trashed this tradition?
Was it not the former heads of the security agencies — CIA, FBI, director of national intelligence — who have been leveling the kind of savage attacks on the chief of state one might expect from antifa?
