Only C-suite had offices, and I happened to get placed near all of the HR people. They were the dumbest, most pointless group of people I've ever been around. Just a bunch of old hens cackling about the latest training video or new "onboarding" policy. What a pointless bunch of shit.
It was so bad and I couldn't get anything done. I even called a recruiter to see if I could quit after one month and go back to biglaw.
