one was a really chill tabby we had for like 8 years that had like 5 litters of kittens with the second cat that I'll mention. she'd hang around the house, wasn't an inside cat for most of her life, had none of the shitty habits most cats have (getting underfoot, tearing shit up, shitting all over the place, etc.), was very affectionate with my siblings, and above all, a fantastic hunter. she'd leave headless rodents on our porch right by the door (again, this was deep farm country; we didn't mind), and was generally very low maintenance.

the other was a massive (had to be around 20 pounds, and he was a shorthair) black tomcat that hung around our barns/buildings (he just showed up one day and stuck around). wasn't very friendly - wouldn't let us pet him, and would only let me and one of my siblings get near him - but he had little hideouts in each of our barn lofts, and there were literally piles of dead rodents in each. we never fed him, he didn't cause a single issue, but the most 180 thing about the fucker was how he dealt with other animals. he tore the fuck out of a neighbor's shitpit mix that got loose and tried to kill him. he promptly ran to one of his hidey holes in one of our sheds, the dog followed him in, stuck his face in catdood's hole where dog couldn't reach catdood but catdood could rip his face up, and that's just what happened. he also probably killed a medium-sized raccoon that I found in one of his holes when I was climbing around one day. the thing's head was nearly torn off, he'd bitten its neck so many times. he also killed another tomcat that tried to fuck around with him. other cat was a stray who one of my younger siblings mistakenly tried to feed in the middle of one of our barns. catdood appears, sees another tomcat, and promptly goes fucking nuts. chased him through two different barns, cornered him, and by the time I got there, new cat was dead.

It has a smoothness and slight fruitiness that Laphroaig 10 doesn't have. I'd probably prefer Laphroaig 10 for regular drinking but this is a nice change of pace
