Each country commits to offering significant tax breaks to a create a certain number of jobs. They also make loans to build the infrastructure, which are paid back by the refugees when they purchase homes.
If the caravan comes to the US border, they load them up on buses and drive them to refugee-land. Each country also commits troops to police the land. Lawbreakers are immediately deported to their home country.
This sounds dumb, but it is 100x better than the current system. People in shitty countries get an opportunity to be safe and have a chance at life. Euro countries get to help out without the negative affects of immigration. |
