A: The federal government levies a one-time excise tax on all checking, savings, or investment accounts held by US citizens. You pay the government 10% of all your savings/investment beyond $110,000. So if you have $60,000 in your savings account, $200,000 in your 401k, and $75,000 in a 529, you pay a one-time tax of (($60,000 + $200,000 + $75,000) - $110,000)*.10, or $22,500. The money collected from this tax goes to fund programs to help poor and underprivileged Americans.
B: The federal government assigns everyone a "privilege score", ranking everyone in America from most privileged to least privileged. Anytime you meet somebody who is less privileged than you according to this score, you MUST bow to them or else you will be whipped. However, funding for programs to help the underprivileged is NOT increased and taxes do not go up.

A: To end the debate over whether or not English should be an official language, the United States adopts Bahasa Indonesia (a language from Indonesia) as its official language, because it is equally foreign to everyone. Thus, whether you speak English or Spanish or Hmong at home, everyone will have to learn a foreign language to succeed in America. You are free to speak whatever you want at home, but ALL interactions with the government are in Bahasa Indonesia. If you want to apply for Social Security, vote, bid on a government contract, or submit a brief to the US Circuit Court of Appeals, you need to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
B: Every year, an essay contest is held nation-wide, judged by a panel consisting of two Supreme Court justices (chosen at random), the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate, and three state governors (again chosen at random). The essay topic is always about something very theoretical or esoteric, such as "what is virtue" or "what is a good life". The contest winner can then propose two laws, which become adopted as federal laws unless either (1) they would cost more than $2 billion a year to implement, or (2) the SCOTUS strikes them down as unconstitutional.

A: Once a year, in October, the Senate is allowed to hold one duel between a Republican and a Democrat. The weapon must be either pistols or rapiers. Both dueling Senators will receive full immunity for anything they do to the other Senator. The way it works is that any Senator may challenge any other Senator, who can then accept or decline. If multiple pairs of Senators agree to duel each other, the Senate historian will decide which duel happens, based on which he thinks will be the most interesting for future historians to study. C-SPAN broadcasts it live of course.
B: Every year, a randomly selected COA judge is forced to wear a heavy metal yoke to court for three months. The heavy metal yoke represents "the weight of the law" and "the burden of justice" and is sufficiently heavy to be onerous to even a very fit individual, and could easily kill or maim an older, decrepit jurist. If the judge survives this ordeal, they are allowed to fill one (1) non-SCOTUS vacancy in the federal courts with a candidate of their choice, who is automatically confirmed. If they die, they die.

A: In order to prevent a full-blown rebellion by incels, the federal government agrees to establish a "College of Virgins". This consists of 100 male virgins, two from each state, who must agree to move to Washington DC and live in an enormous Georgetown mansion with the other male virgins. States may use any process they want to select the virgins, who serve for life or until they lose their virginity. The College of Virgins may, by a 60% majority vote, veto ANY legislation passed by Congress, preventing it from passing or being sent to the POTUS's desk.
B: Under the "Helping Incels Get Laid Act of 2019", Congress agrees to purchase a brand new muscle car for any male virgin over the age of 30, up to $60,000. Incels can pick whatever they want under that price so long as a reasonable man would consider it a "muscle car"

A. Every year 2 US senators and 5 congressmen are sacrificed on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, then give a Viking-style floating funeral pyre in the reflecting pool. Idea is that this will help ensure that people running for Congress are selfless and willing to sacrifice all.
B. Instead of POTUS we have two Roman-style consuls that each veto each other and that can serve only for one year at a time. (Multiple non-consecutive one year terms are allowed). The consuls persons are sacrosanct and they are immune from any investigation or prosecution while in office.

A. Would improve our education system in two ways:
- more smart teachers
- fewer sheltered ivory tower shitlibs who have never seen what a shitty inner-city school is like (and are thus oblivious to the need for ORDER).
B has potential for more economic disruption, I think.

A: The USA, Mexico, and the UN strike a deal on migrant caravans. Each year, an official caravan run is held, open to any citizen of Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, or El Salvador. They must get through Mexico and reach the USA. Mexico sets up obstacle courses the migrants must figure out. Some obstacles require strength to overcome, some require teamwork, some are logical puzzles. Some obstacles are lethal if not solved properly. The first 10,000 migrants to reach American soil are granted an immediate greencard. Those who do not make the first 10k are deported and implanted with a microchip that does not allow them to compete for another 5 years. Whole thing is televized.
B: Trump flip-flops on immigration. All migrants crossing the border and asking for asylum or catch-and-release are welcomed by a Trump campaign volunteer, given a MAGA hat and a copy of Art of the Deal, given gift certificates for free meals at Trump properties, and even photographed next to a smiling cardboard cutout of Donald Trump. They are also given a phone number to call to get help from the Trump Organization if they run into an issue.
