They also have a chance if Northwestern wins the Big 10 or USC upsets ND. Neither is impossible. |

I think they'll go over a 2 loss power 5 team,
Its not impossible that there will be 3 conferences without a champion that has less than 2 wins
If Oklahoma loses the Big XII championship game
If Northwestern wins the Big 10 championship game,
If UW beats Wazzou, or Wazzou loses in the Pac XII championship game

Ohio State losing to Maryland, then beating Michigan would have helped
Oklahoma State was a 2 point conversion away from beating Oklahoma (they would have had to keep a FG off the board coming the other way for another minute as well), Texas Tech was an onside kick recovery away from having a drive for the win

They are behind Alabama, Clemson, ND, B1G, OU and Wash St.
It is easy to imagine OU and Wash St both dropping a game. That’s the easy part. But UCF would still need one of the three unlikely chaosmaking results: Clemson loss to SC/Pitt, ND loss to USC, NW winning big 10.
