Instead of "Satan," the new devil goes by the name of "Bigotry." But he's still everywhere! For believers, if any aspect of our society CAN be explained in terms of bigotry, then it MUST be explained in terms of bigotry. Racists are the new witches. Rather than examining bodies for incriminating marks of the devil, words are scrutinized for any hint of incorrect thinking that might reveal the darkness within. He basically says that for every famous shooting of a black person there is an equivalent shooting of a white person that gets no press. He says there are twice as many shootings of blacks as their percentage of the overall population, but "anti-racists" like to talk about absolute numbers, as opposed to percentages, when it makes blacks look better (e.g., welfare recipients). I think a better point to raise there is that (according to some stuff I've seen), police shootings by race seem to mirror the encounter rate by race pretty closely.
