I think what Peter Thiel has done with his money is pretty impressive. The obvious is example is his contributions to Trump, which enabled him to influence a number of political appointees among other thing. They also likely helped his firm Palantir pull in some major government contacts ahead of their IPO.
He has also used his money to advance his ideas by supporting a new policy journal (American Affairs), his Fellows program, and a bunch of other stuff. He would be my rich guy role model. The way he fucked Gawker over was incredible. |
