shitlibs blast over substantive disagreements like speedbumps at 70 mph, pretending not to notice everyone's head just hit the ceiling and instead SCREECHING that pelosi "pwnd" trump by baiting him to lose his temper (he didn't lose his temper from what i saw) or that cuckin' chuck "destroyed" trump by "tricking" him into saying he'd "own" the shutdown. but according to MFE chris cillizza the electorate *hates* shutdowns regardless of which party is responsible, so obviously trump has "lost" if he doesn't resort to arm-flapping "not it!" lies about who "caused" it and instead says something like "yes, this is a key issue that i ran on and i will shut the government down if your only setting on said issue is maf obstructionism because your candidate couldn't persuade the american people on election day, even though you, like, *really* *totally* think HER deserved to win. oh and btw the next time YOU win a national election you should do the same if republicans throw a tantrum and try to cockblock every part of the platform that got you elected."
we literally used to put people to death for sophistry. trump should consider bringing that back as part of his platform in 2020. arghh, rant over fukkkkkk i hate shitlibs so much!!! fuck shitlibs!

that said, we're probably proper fucked, because the next two years aren't going to be the same as the first two. i'm not sure what the result of a prolonged shutdown would be, but i say fuck it, shut it down.
going forward, i'm hoping RBG's seat opens up, and that important issues get taken up by SCOTUS so that there can be some lasting good to come from Trump as president.
without a change in immigration laws/policy and no wall and no end to birthright citizenship, i fear that the horde will just overcome us. |
