I'm not aware of any displays compatible with HDR that aren't also 4k and it would be retarded to do that since you're losing fidelity by downscaling to 1080 from 4k source material.
Its the new standard. I'm not sure what your bitch is about it, you basically can't get a modern HD TV anymore. |

My tv even popped up a message telling me it was active even though I was in 1080p mode. Netflix would look better on 4k, and I also like to look at my photos blown up on the wall, and 4k would definitely help with that. |

3D never got enough penetration to make it worthwhile to produce content for. That said, as someone with a VR headset that has watched VR/3D content, it is definitely next level realism. That said, 3D without full VR/head tracking is probably silly. |
