DAMN to writer Rich Juzwiak, who has a sick sense of humor and/or is just cruel (nearly always to the woman participant, as I've commented before and racked up quite a few "likes" from other readers, so this isn't just my opinion)! When is the WaPo going to give this guy the boot? Participants don't deserve this, nor do the readers.

Andrew is looking for someone “in shape, nonjudgmental” and “curious about life," per caption under pic. So what does Rich do? Match him up with a woman who appears rather heavy/not in shape. That was surely a dealbreaker for Andrew from the get-go. Don't get me wrong, I think Natalie is quite pretty and seems like an interesting woman, but she's not a good match for someone who places importance on someone being "in shape." And that criteria seems to be high on Andrew's list of things he's looking for in a woman -- and that's his perogative.

Both of these participants seem likeable and like they'd be a good match/catch for someone -- just not each other. Now, their turn at being a DL participant is gone because they had the terrible luck of having Rick being the matcher. I feel badly for both of them and wish them both good luck!

People seem like playthings for Rich or he just has poor judgment (I lean toward the former reason). Regardless of the reason(s), he should not be in this role. I always brace myself when I see that he's the writer -- and he didn't let me down this time around with more of the usual...

P.S. -- Andew, yes, your married life was a big part of your life, but talking too much about your wife on dates isn't a good idea. If will be a dealbreaker for many (dare I say, most) women, at least those who are emotionally and pyschologically healthy."
