You literally push one button and it grinds, brews (with steam), and is ready for the next. City / light roast beans only, which is what you should be using anyway because they taste conservatively 1000x better than dark roast shit beans. I've had a refurb Jura Capresso and brewed >5k coffees with it and only had it serviced the first time 9 years into ownership.
French press is also easy and practical, although you have to take it apart and wash it every time and also have to boil water. Pourover, Chemex, or Aeropress are along the same lines but generally preferable since the coffee isn't sitting in the beans while you drink the first cup.
K-cups are trash for secretaries. |
