When selling your home, the most important room to consider is the kitchen.

The kitchen is the single biggest selling point and if you want to do reno/changes to your home before selling, spend on the kitchen. Nice counter tops, cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Hardwood floor.
Rest of the house, just strip carpet and refinish hardwood floors and remove wall paper.
Bathrooms you can add nicer fixtures but don't go crazy.
The kitchen is the main selling point. House can be great but with a lousy kitchen, people are turned off. |
