Not super familiar with either but from cursory drives through and impressions gleaned from Outlanders from these places that's what i've got Clearwater is slightly more "standard middle class", not a horrible place to raise a family if you don't mind the growing carbuncle that is the Scientology Urban Core. Decent beaches too, no Brazilian tide washing all the whites away from the commons that they pay to upkeep I don't really mind Tampa but it's got that sort of of Prole+Predatory Capitalism toxic rot infecting the place, it doesn't really have much of a "native culture" to inoculate it from that midwestern cultural lobotomzation process so that's been playing out slowly over time I'm sure none of this is particularly helpful, maybe you can narrow the question down. Iirc that "Sticky" guy spent some time actually living in Tampa, he might be of help here |

St Pete is imho the best place in the Tampa Bay area now. |

Just get in my car" routine on me with a 50 dollar bill at the mall there around Christmas maybe 7-8 years ago Also yes it's suburban but the stores and character of the area were distinctly hick, albeit in that north florida sort of way---not as bad as rural Georgia or whatever but it's still my impression of the place and its people Agreed on St. Pete though, town is infested with obnoxious Progressives and slumped-over heroin addicts but the food and architecture are v good, there's a strong youth contingent making the place feel vibrant (actual vibrant not NIGGER vibrant), and it's got a neat general feel |
