Demands for refi’s have been really high since May/June and the refi rates are not keeping in line with the fed cuts. Currently the refi rate for my loan is 0.125% higher than when I refi’ed in June despite rates going down during that time. It took me 3 months to close on my refi due to them being so swamped and the rates did not go down during that time. |
