I believe the disclosure process on UAPs is already underway.
We know they exist. We know the government is interested in them and has been studying them for years. No one has admitted really what (or who) they are, if they even really know. We know the capabilities of these objects seem to defy physics and can perform actions unlike any aircraft we know of, foreign or domestic. Additionally, the Pentagon has issued many conflicting statements on whether or not it considers UAPs real, studies them or has more information about them, though they've eventually come around to admitting all of these things are true.
If public pressure mounts, I think they will tell us more.

Unless of course they have access to things far beyond our capabilities.
Maybe they're aren't even aliens, but intelligent machines.
Or something else.
But we're at the halfway point of disclosure. We know they exist, we know the government studies them. The real stuff comes next.
