I was lifting heavy yesterday morning with a few of my bros before the start of our day at S&C. We’ve formed a sort of law lift club and have gotten extremely yoked and shredded over the past few years. Helps to blow off steam in the middle of an intense all hands on deck deal especially when we have point and everyone’s looking to us to lead. Anyway, I’m doing arm curls, sitting across from one of my best buds, Taylor, when I get the unmistakeable feeling that I’m about to shoot my wad, like the minute before you’re finishing up with one of the fresh young things you’re always meeting when we’re hitting the clubs on the reg Fris and Sats. I think it must be a passing thing and keep pushing through the set but what do you know 30 seconds later I’m shooting a huge load across the room and it lands on Taylor’s rock hard thighs. He looks down, laughs, keeps pushing through his own set, but you can tell he’s spun up about it because he starts throwing his head back in the air, clenching his teeth, then he shoots his shit all over Ron who’s spotting him. Ron, who was already rock hard because he’d been lifting heavy, sees the spunk on his chest and face and he starts panting. “I’m gonna do mine bros….” And he does! It goes on like this and within a few minutes all six of us have shoot massive ropes! Anyway, we wrap up our sets and hit the showers together to get ready for another day of biglaw and we don’t even get into what’s happened because we have deal shit to go through before we get to the office, so we’re laser focused. Zegnas on, Aldens on, Etons on, we’re spiced up and ready to go and then we’re just in the whirlwind, 14 hours commanding the ship, real master of the universe shit.
This morning I’m getting ready to take a flight to London so I’m having some time to reflect. Is what happened yesterday during our sesh normal? To be clear, I’m a totally heterosex, church-going guy. I don’t do any of that homo shit. Not judging it’s 2023 and all but I’m straight as an arrow. I just find myself thinking about how soon I can get back into the gym with my bros. It really helped clear my mind especially in the deal season we’re in right now. All thoughts welcome bros. |
