when i withdrawal my coins from EtherDelta smart contract to my "wallet" are they then stored safely on MEW, off of the exchange and away from the etherdelta hackers? Or should I send them from the etherdelta wallet (which is also a MEW) to another MEW address?

I would never trust your "main" wallet on any of these sites. Just have two wallets, one being an intermediary that you would be 100% ok with going poof.

What if that wallet is a ledger?

I connected my ledger and tried to deposit .5 ETH from the wallet to Etherdelta and it said I didn't have enough funds even though my wallet showed a shit ton of ETH

And now I am worried that somehow the ledger is compromised even though logically that should be impossible without the private key, I would think

Edit: changed the gas price from 4 to 31, and got the same error

Fuck my ass

I am trying to buy a little PFR and this is pissing me off

Hey, I had same issue.. Try opening a new browser and putting an absurd gas price .. like 40

Thanks, will try again

Edit: went all the way to 100, still getting the same error about not enough funds in wallet to cover the transaction cost which isiterally not possible
